As I speak, errr write. Nominations have opened for the Podcast Awards and I'd like your help. EVERYONE can nominate (and later vote) podcasts and I'd like you to nominate some of the ones I work on!
There are a lot of great podcasters out there who work tirelessly to create content that is not only free, but awesome. No matter what your stand is on award shows (or this award show in particular) the reward you can give these content producers by nominating their podcast is priceless.
Many of you -are- podcasters, some of you aren't, but I'd like to invite you to nominate Buffy Between the Lines (http://buffybetweenthelines.com/) for Best Produced and Best TV/Entertainment if you have room to do so!
Also, if you don't have a podcast for Spiritual/Inspirational - can you nominate my dad's podcast - Transformed!
Even if you don't nominate our podcasts, please take time and nominate someone. Then drop them an email and tell them how grateful you are for their hard work!
Thank you for being such awesome people.
Please nominate at - http://podcastawards.com
As many of you know (or maybe you don't... well you do now), I'm one of the writers for Buffy Between the Lines (Seasons 1 and 2) and Angel Betwen the Lines (in production now). Even if you don't listen to BBTL, you probably listen to another. Show your appreciation and nominate your favorites. Thanks!
We now return you to your regularly scheduled f-list. ;)

It's the way to go... for a number of reasons:
Anyway, this weekend hubby and I were at D&D Experience in DC. Home was attained around 4 p.m. Dinner was ordered (pizza), cuddles were given to the cats, the dog ran around like a loon for a little bit and now we're all starting to sack out. (If truth be told, Casey sacked out in the car once we got out of DC and I've been fighting the sleepies since we got home. Sammy has been dozing since 6:30. I suspect Casey has been as well. )
Tomorrow starts my first full work week since... the first week of February (funeral, illness, company holiday, and vacaton). Ugh! But I guess I shouldn't complain.
Upcoming gaming & knitting plans:
- Gaming is fun
- Knitting is fun
- Knitting while gaming starts all sorts of conversations. People are fascinated by it. Especially when you have self patterning yarn. Or are working on socks 4-dpns. Oh yes!
- Knitting while at a convention brings you closer to other gamers who knit
- I can out geek my hubby at the gaming table when I knit
- Knitting plain socks improves my math ability for adding my bonuses to my dice rolls. This may not seem like a big deal, but trust me, it's huge.
- Gaming while knitting is like being at a Knit-Night or something, only you're the only knitter. It's a pretty social hobby. (In case you didn't get where I was going with that.)

- Possibly attending Origins in late June with hubby. Possibly. We'll see.
- Attending DragonCon Labor Day weekend (Buffy Between the Lines stuff going on - should be a lot of fun! Can't wait to go and meet my fellow writer
haldira finally and the other crew and cast members) - Attending Rhinebeck in October with

Are you male? Are you interested in acting in a serialized audio drama? Can you maintain a credible Billy Idol accent?
If you've answered yest to the questions above, then head on over to Buffy Between the Lines Casting Call. We're still looking for a good Spike (Billy Idol stole his look, remember). It's not necessary to have watched the entire Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, but it's helpful to have some familiarity with the character.
This opportunity is for volunteers only. Your payment is for the sheer joy of doing something fun!
So go ahead... submit your audio auditions to
sl_podcast (Tabz). You'll have fun!
