How do I only have 1 set of size 5 knitting needles? And their not even DPNS! Straights only. How can this be?

Off to Michael's at lunch to get a size 5 circular needle so I can work on my Blue Pine Jacket. The ribbed band at the bottom is fine on the straights, but the rest of the sweater needs to be worked on a circular needle or on DPNS.

Edited to add: No needle love at Michael's. They had size 6 and up. *le pout*
