mighty
The first of my accomplishments, of which I am very proud, is the fact that I have successfully spun and plied yarn on the spinning wheel.

This is 75g of homespun yarn drying in my bathroom. Exciting, no?

And now for some details: I give you my curly yarn in white and cream from mystery roving. The cream was spun using a drop spindle. The white was spun on the wheel. The resulting singles were plied on the wheel.

I suspect (and I'm sure the spinners on my flist will confirm this) that I got that interesting curly effect because the wheel spun single was overspun.

Next, is the detail of what I'm calling BFF yarn. That's because [info]mamagrainne spun the purple yarn and I spun the white.

But the thing I am most proud of, some would say inordinately proud, is my tub:

Not only did I apply the treads in the nifty pattern you see, I also took apart the drain and cleaned it out. I'll spare you the details, but be impressed. My tub now drains properly and hence, keeps itself clean when I shower. Ta da!

Yes, I am truly mighty!
